What is Massage therapy?
Massage therapy is the manual manipulation of soft body tissues of the body, such as muscles, connective tissue, tendons, and ligaments to enhance a person’s health and well-being. There are various types of massage therapy techniques/methods/modalities.

What to expect during a session
During a Reiki session, the client is fully clothed and either lies down on a massage table or sits comfortably in a chair. Reiki is offered through light, non-invasive touch with the practitioner’s hands placed and held on a series of locations beginning at the head and ending at the feet. During this time, Reiki energy is flowing from the Reiki practitioner’s hands into the client’s body. The client may experience a sense of palpitations, trembling, stomach gurgling and/or other various physical changes during the session, as well as, may experience nothing at all. Since everyone’s energy is unique to the individual much like your fingerprints, you will still reap the benefits of your Reiki session. Although people typically leave a Reiki session feeling more relaxed, peaceful, refreshed, sometimes he/she will notice feeling more tired than usual in the evening. This should not be viewed as an adverse reaction to the session but rather as the body’s natural way of responding to the healing and something to be heeded.
